Meet The Face Behind Northside Law Center, LLC

I’m Michael J. Cohen, the owner of Northside Law Center, LLC. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After graduating from Emory University, I spent some time in the Army. Then I attended and received my law degree from the University Of Georgia School Of Law. I was in a general practice firm, but I decided to become a landlord-tenant attorney early in my practice. 

I am committed to resolving eviction issues, protecting the landlord’s interests, and maintaining tenants’ rights. In addition to my practice, I was also a part-time professor at Georgia State University and served as a part-time judge in the Magistrate Court of Fulton County.

The part of my business that I most enjoy is helping clients work through stressful situations. Helping them find solutions makes all the difference in their case. As an individual, I believe kindness toward everyone will lead to resolutions. I attribute my success to listening to both sides, accurately gauging the situation, then offering advice based on experience and knowledge of relevant laws.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy riding my Harley. I make a conscious effort to give back to the community and, as part of that belief, contribute to and support local causes and community initiatives.
