I had to give Attorney Cohen 5 stars bc he delivered the results I was looking for with my case . Whenever I was losing hope , he would calmly kept me encouraged . It took months but he remained committed to seeing me through my situation . And at the end , it all worked out ! Thanks to Attorney Cohen . Yes he maybe firm and direct in his approach but I can respect that bc he means business and he definitely gets the job done . He helped take a heavy burden off me and for that I’m truly grateful for his service and all of his efforts . I came into a situation where landlord was evicting me even though I was ready to pay all the past due balance.. huge mistake was to miss the court date too .. on appointing Mr. Micheal he tried his very best and made impossible possible and landlord agreed to accept the rent ... This review may be premature but, I am going through a high stress landlord/tenant situation where I need out of my lease immediately! I interviewed with three lawyers today and Michael was the ONLY one who sounded confident that he could help me! By others basically told that I was at my landlords mercy. I’ve been extremely stressed, losing sleep, and ultimately losing my peace. I was discouraged. I must say after reading these reviews I am very excited to meet with him this week. Michael, while I know things won’t always go in the favor of the client, I am confident that you can truly help me as you have the majority of the people here.

Michael is awesome! I was recently sued. Out of all the lawyers I interviewed, He was the only lawyer who was able to put my worry at ease. He explained his approach and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend him if you are in a similar situation.

Mr. Cohen has been a true blessing, and has over-delivered with the efforts he invested into my case. He was very approachable and communicated complicated legal terms in layman's terms. As absentee landlord, I had a hard time managing my delinquent client, so after verbally threatening eviction for the 5th time, I realized that my approach didn't work. Northside Law stepped in, quickly filed all papers with Cobb County, and recorded accordingly. Mr. Cohen also developed a detailed payment plan. As a result, our tenant paid up and extended the lease, fully knowing that any further delinquency could result in an accelerated eviction, court costs etc. After Northside Law Center completed all proceedings, they didn't just close the case, but patiently followed up until I was completely satisfied. From first contact, I was certain Mr. Cohen would be the best attorney to assist with my landlord tenant matter. Although, my case wasn't overly complicated and I wish I waited to use his services but going in blind was not an option. As stated in a previous review, this is definitely a tier 1 TOP SHELF LAW FIRM. I continued to have problems with my landlord accepting my rent. It appears that when I'd gone to court regarding my case, Mr Cohen negotiated a mutually beneficial agreement for both myself and the apartment complex wherein I was to pay an agreed upon amount by a certain date. I'd held up my end and paid per the agreement details. It seems as though the leasing mgr, did not truly understand the court issued consent form, nor how to read it, as it outlined the amount ordered to pay by the judge, and the leasing MGR stated that the late fees were not waived, and the judge did not include a wiaver of fees in the consent order. I reached out to Mr Cohen, and explained what was going on and he advised me on how to best explain the consent order to the leasing mger and further advsed that he (the leasing mger) contact their attorney as he had a copy of the same consent form and have their attorney explain it to him. I followed Mr. Cohen's advice, and brought in a copy of the consent form as well as the proof of satisfaction of previously agreed upon pymnts ordered by the court. Upon breaking the form down line bt line, the property MGR sted he'd acceptthe rent and gave me receipts for my rent pymnt and stated he'd get with their atty. Once again, Attorney Michael Cohen's representation is the representation that goes beyond the courtroom.
